Archaeologist Adrian reunites with his former partner Ethan to work on the excavation of the Saqqara royal tomb complex. A nameless burial chamber and an ancient silver box containing a human heart gradually uncover a forbidden story sealed away for two thousand years.
In ancient Egypt, Pharaoh Amunnehet falls deeply in love with his vizier Merira, yet the two can never be open about their bond, forced apart by a political royal marriage and secular social taboos. Merira willingly offers himself as a living ritual sacrifice to become **THE PHARAOH’S SILVER VOW** — the pharaoh’s wedding vows carved into his very flesh, exchanging searing, bone-deep pain for the chance to lie beside his beloved for all eternity after death.
The two men in the modern day find themselves trapped in the same restraints of same-sex love. Spanning across millennia of devotion, this love still cannot break free from the chains of reality and prejudice.
