To save her daughter Lily from terminal heart failure, desperate single mother Chloe strikes a contract marriage with Damon, a ruthless and feared Mafia don. She enters the bargain seeing it as nothing but a life-for-money deal — believing she is nothing more than a disposable decoy to draw enemy fire away from him.
She is soon plunged into a deadly storm of rival clan manhunts and the murderous schemes of the ruthless socialite Vanessa. From defending her daughter’s hospital bed against assassins to gunning down a kidnapper in an abandoned factory, from the crushing betrayal of learning she was meant to be a stand-in to the shattering despair of Damon’s faked death, Chloe transforms from a broken, helpless mother into an iron-willed underworld queen. In the end, she stands side by side with Damon, who returns from the brink of death — and together they seize control of the entire criminal empire.
